Recipe 01 · Repeat purchases & revenue · Short campaign

Get members spending points with three rounds of limited-time rewards

Points need somewhere worth spending them. Release rewards in three rounds so members with any balance can find something they want, then carry it through to in-store pickup.

A member turns saved-up points into the surprise of opening a gift box

Campaign length

14 days (3 rounds)

First-time setup

First setup 60–90 min

Ongoing cost after launch

About 10 min every 4–5 days to check stock as rounds change

Times are estimates for running the recipe itself; brand content, reward prep, customer service and results reviews need separate staff time. The scope of training and hands-on support is confirmed based on your plan.

We practice it with you

Together we pick rewards, set point prices and stock, and practice scheduling three redemption rounds with no clashing dates.

What we review together afterward

Review each round's redemption and in-store pickup records. If people redeemed but never picked up, check the pickup method and deadline.

1 / 3 · Day 1

She opens the store. A red countdown reads “Limited-time deal · 3 days 06 hours left,” the original price of 800 is struck through and replaced with 480, and three items are tagged “This round only.”

A fallback reward at 100 points or less stays up the whole time, so nobody loses out for being slow to tap.

How to get all kinds of members to take part

A fallback reward at 100 points or less stays up for the whole campaign, so new members with few points aren't stuck window-shopping from start to finish. Rounds overlap by one day, giving people who hesitate a buffer instead of a hard cutoff. There's no competitive element anywhere in the campaign, so nobody loses out for being slow to tap.

What to set up in the admin console (42 fields total)

  1. 1. Pick 8–12 store items and give them campaign pricing

For each reward: deal points / deal start / deal end — 12 items × 3 fields

  2. 2. Split into three rounds with staggered start times

Rounds are staggered by the deal start and end times from the previous step; no extra fields to fill

  3. 3. On each round's launch day, publish one same-day limited-time mission to bring people back

    Each mission: start / end time — 3 missions × 2 fields

Staff time: First setup 60–90 min. About 10 min every 4–5 days to check stock as rounds change during the campaign

Prerequisites: At least 8 items already listed in the Points Store

Limits to know before you launch Pitfall × 4
  • The platform has no “campaign container”: the time window has to be set on each reward separately, so 12 items means filling it in by hand 12 times. Miss a single deal end time and that item stays discounted forever — the most common accident with this recipe.
  • The per-member redemption limit defaults to “Unlimited.” Leave it that way and one member holding 50,000 points can clear out a whole round's stock. Always limit deal items to 1–2 per member.
  • When a deal expires, the price only jumps back to normal — the item stays on the shelf. Actually taking it down is a separate set of fields (the reward's own listing start and end times), which doubles the field count.
  • Discounting more than three times a year trains a “don't redeem now, wait for the sale” habit, which ends up crushing everyday redemption. We recommend keeping campaign items separate from your popular always-on items.
