Recipe 03 · Repeat purchases & revenue · Short campaign
A 48-hour flash sale every Friday, set up once a quarter
Make every Friday a day with new rewards to look at. Schedule a quarter of flash sales in advance, so members get regular chances to redeem and your brand can prepare stock early.

Campaign length
12 a quarter, 48 hrs each
First-time setup
60 min to schedule a quarter
Ongoing cost after launch
Zero staff time, zero push messages, zero support work during sales
Times are estimates for running the recipe itself; brand content, reward prep, customer service and results reviews need separate staff time. The scope of training and hands-on support is confirmed based on your plan.
We practice it with you
Together we plan each week's items and point thresholds, and check the deal times and per-member redemption limits.
What we review together afterward
See which items get redeemed and which keep getting ignored, then adjust item picks and stock allocation next quarter.

1 / 3 · Every Friday, noon
The brand hasn't sent a single push message, but anyone who opens the store sees that item has put up its own countdown, “1 day 23 hours left,” next to the struck-through original price. Someone who's been sitting on points for six months feels, for the first time, “If I don't use them, I lose out.”
Every sale includes an item at 300 points or less, and each item comes around at least twice a quarter.
How to get all kinds of members to take part
Every sale must include one item at 300 points or less, so members with few points aren't left looking at things they can't have, sale after sale. Each item comes around at least twice a quarter, so people who miss it know it'll be back, instead of deciding “I'll never get one” and never looking again. It's all individual — nobody competes with anyone.
Getting ready to launch · Setup, modules and staffing
What to set up in the admin console (39 fields total)
1. Schedule all 12 of the quarter's 48-hour deals in one go
For each sale: deal points / deal start / deal end — 12 sales × 3 fields
2. Set one low-threshold fallback item that stays up the whole time
Deal points / deal start / deal end — 1 item × 3 fields
Staff time: About 60 min to schedule a quarter in one go (12 sales × 5 min). Zero staff time, zero push messages, zero support work during sales
Prerequisites: Enough items listed in the Points Store to rotate (≥12 recommended)

Limits to know before you launch Pitfall × 3
- Stock selling out while the countdown is still running looks worst of all — members can see the countdown but can't redeem. We recommend setting deal stock to at least 1.5× your expected redemptions.
- This recipe noticeably speeds up point spending — in effect, booking a batch of point liability on your books as real cost all at once. Check the total with your finance team before you schedule it.
- A “VIP-only deal” can only be done with a level requirement. Member tags can't gate it — that lock only looks locked on screen; the system doesn't actually check it, and anyone who knows how can get around it.
